We will provide three primary services to the citizens of Black Rock City. First and foremost, we will make daily collections of those pesky playa "creatures" who are running free causing disturbances to the camps and/or streets of the City. Second, our trained staff will use the latest in animal reform practices to allow these potentially dangerous "animals" the chance to be reintroduced to life on the playa. If our staff concludes that an animal has achieved reformed status they will have the opportunity to be adopted by a responsible Black Rock City citizen. Finally, we will offer search and rescue services for Black Rock City "animals" who have become seperated from their home camps.
Clean Up Plan
Everyone in our camp adheres to the strict leave no trace policy. We will be packing out everything that we bring in. We are even now looking into our own camp toilets to ease the load on the Jonny on the Spots.The only impact that we plan to have on the playa will be securing our shade structures and the Animal Control cage. This might involve digging approx 8-10 five inch holes for the posts that will support the rest of the structure. If we find no way around digging these holes we will be sure to pack them back with the original playa from the holes. Aside from that, the majority of our camp will stay through Monday to remove all rebar, trash and misc articles that we find in or near our area.
